Sr. Principal Sales Solutions Consultant
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Principal Sales Solutions Consultant will play a critical role in driving sales and supporting the growth of our healthcare solutions. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and technical and product expertise to effectively communicate the value of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare solutions, exceptional presentation skills, and a proven track record of success in sales consulting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary technical and product advisor for the sales team, enhancing the sales team's capacity by providing additional subject matter expertise and support in various pursuits.
- Work closely with the sales team during the pre-sales phase to provide technical input, and conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and clients.
- Serve as a product expert, providing valuable insights and expertise to enhance the sales process and increase value for clients.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and develop tailored solutions that address those needs.
- Partner with the sales team in scoping solutions and developing accurate work orders that align with client expectations and project requirements.
- Act as a bridge between clients and implementation teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery of solutions.
- Gather and communicate feedback from clients and the market to the product development team, contributing to continuous product improvement and innovation.
- Assist in the creation and review of proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Identify potential risks in project delivery and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring smooth implementation and client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, project scopes, and work orders to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team on new product features and updates, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent the product accurately and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and strategic insights.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies, training materials, and marketing content.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote the company’s solutions and capabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in sales solutions or similar role within the Healthcare Industry
- Healthcare subject matter expertise, with solid technical knowledge/aptitude with enterprise class insurance transaction and health care management information systems. Knowledge and experience with the HealthEdge product suite is a plus
- Experience with Reimbursement and/or Payment Integrity
- Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex solutions.
- Proven track record of supporting complex sales cycles
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
