Job Brief
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of an Agile team that’s responsible for enhancing and maintaining Advisor360°’s most visible and critical application - CRM which integrates with Microsoft Exchange, and external systems such as Salesforce and Redtail. These products are at the heart of what we offer to our advisors and their clients. In addition to having an Agile mindset and a desire to produce great software, you’ll need a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Makes significant technical contributions to the planning and implementation of mid- to large-scale projects from conception to completion
- Demonstrates versatility of knowledge and applies strong technical skill base to contribute to meet strategic objectives
- Validates requirements, performs analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and support for assigned projects to drive application changes
- Ensures compliance with coding standards and development procedures and suggests opportunities for improvement
- Acquires and utilizes strong technical and application knowledge to introduce and forecast the impact of new software design patterns, code concepts, and emerging technologies
- Shares information and expertise to empower the team and improve productivity
- Work as a subject matter expert within the organization while resolving complex technical issues or challenges
- Provides mentoring to develop and support team members
- Spearheads multiple projects inside of the team and delegate tasks to team members
Skills & Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience building and releasing web services
- Expert knowledge of C# .NET
- Good experience with Kubernetes, Azure
- Experience with Angular or other modern front-end libraries/frameworks
- Experience implementing business critical database applications, micro-services and/or long-running backend data processing applications
- Experience serving as technical expert throughout the full SDLC from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance
- A leader in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Expert use with Jira, Confluence, and other related technologies
- Ability to work in our Weston, MA office three days a week
Preferred Strengths
- Experience with CRM integrations is highly preferred
- Proficiency in SQL/relational databases and TFS including building and release definitions within a CI and CD environment
- Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
- Proven experience with Test Driven Development
- Strong understanding of Security (oAuth, mTLS etc)
- Strong understanding of SingleSignOn/SAML
