The Salesforce/Gainsight Developer will play a key role at Klaviyo in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the Salesforce platform, as well as integrating Gainsight for effective customer success management. The Salesforce/Gainsight Developer will be instrumental in leveraging technology to enhance customer success initiatives and streamline business processes. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and effective communication to deliver solutions that align with Klaviyos organizational goals.
How You'll Make a Difference:
- Configure, deploy, and administer the Gainsight platform (system configuration, reports, dashboards, end-to-end workflows, systems integrations)
- Collaborate with cross-functional end users to review and sythesize business requirements that impact Gainsight and SFDC, and configure the system to meet those needs (partnering with other operations teams as needed)
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify key metrics, data sources, and the frequency and granularity of data feeds
- Manage day-to-day support of Gainsight users, including fielding questions, ad-hoc customizations, design and implementation of core functionality, workflow adjustments, and user administration, security, and permissions
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user activity and suggestions to make recommendations, thus establishing a process of continuous improvement of the Gainsight platform
- Maintain expertise in Gainsight and other relevant software by staying up to date on new features, trends, and related technologies
- Identify opportunities for improvement of existing tools and processes, including adopting new features in each Gainsight major release
Who You Are:
Must haves:
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements.
- Gainsight Integration: Integrate Gainsight with Salesforce and other systems to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization.
- Gainsight Rule Configuration: Configure and maintain Gainsight rules and playbooks to automate customer success processes and workflows.
- Customization: Customize Gainsight components and objects as needed to align with the organization's customer success strategy.
- API Integration: Develop and implement APIs to enable data exchange between Salesforce, Gainsight, and other external systems.
- Data Management: Perform data migrations and transformations as required during Salesforce and Gainsight implementations or updates.
- Troubleshooting: Problem solver with a systems mindset to investigate and resolve technical issues, system errors, and integration discrepancies.
- Documentation: Document technical specifications, system configurations, and code changes. Create and maintain documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about Salesforce and Gainsight updates, releases, and industry trends. Bring forward industry-examples and best practices.
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database management - especially for organizations with complex account hierarchies and structures
Nice to haves:
- Gainsight administration experience, or Gainsight Associate Administrator (Level 1) Certification
- CRM administration experience or certification
- Customer Success Manager (customer-facing experience) or experience working in customer success, or equivalent understanding of key customer success principles
The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
