Head of Corporate Development

About the Role
Nayya is seeking a courageous, impatient, and resilient Head of Corporate Development with an exceptionally high standard of excellence to lead our inorganic growth initiatives. This is a high-impact role collaborating directly with the leadership team, where you will be responsible for driving our aggressive software acquisition strategy, purchasing/aggregation distribution, and forging strategic data alliances. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can move with breakneck speed to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close deals that will accelerate Nayyas market leadership.
This is an entrepreneurial role that can be structured as an individual contributor and grow into a small team of 2. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of embedding quickly within different business units and collaborating effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities span the entire deal lifecycle, from pre-sourcing and ideation through deal close and post-acquisition integration support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of Nayya's corporate development strategy: Identify and prioritize acquisition targets, distribution partnerships, and data alliance opportunities that align with Nayyas strategic objectives.
- Source and evaluate potential deals: Conduct thorough due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
- Negotiate deal terms and structure: Lead negotiations with target companies and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Nayya.
- Manage the deal closing process: Oversee all aspects of deal execution, including legal documentation, regulatory approvals, and integration planning.
- Support post-acquisition integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies and partnerships.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential deals: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential targets and partners.
- Develop and present recommendations to senior leadership: Provide regular updates on deal progress and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape: Stay abreast of industry developments and identify emerging opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare or technology industry.
- Experience working in impatient environments
- Demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience managing a small team is a plus.
Location:
This position is based near New York, NY, with the expectation of being in the office 3-4 days per week.

Nayya offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $190,000-$250,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
