What you'll do

Develop real-time distributed software to deliver stable and scalable integrations with customer applications and world-class third-party warehouse management system (WMS) applications.

Develop and enhance both external (customer-facing) and internal (Symbotic component) APIs that utilizing the following technologies: C#, .NET, XML, JSON, RabbitMQ, SQL, and Angular.

Identify improvements for the customer experience by understanding end users needs and customer application workflows in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Play a hands-on role as part of an engineering team that works to design, develop, review and test new functionality.

Collaborate with customer designs & software department management who consistently communicate with end users to understand their needs.

Collaborate with other development teams and business analysts to breakdown requirements, design solutions and execute on new business requirements.
What you'll need

Bachelor's (or higher) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical discipline, or related experience.

Familiarity with integration protocols and software development principles.

Experience with Messaging/MQTT, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, C#, AsyncAPI, OpenAPI

Passion for delivering value through stability and scalability on one hand and through new customer-facing features on the other.

Object oriented design and programming concepts, C# or Java is preferred.

Source code version control, unit testing, design and defect tracking tools.

Self-motivated, with an ability to learn quickly and independently, and work in a dynamic agile environment with cross functional and remote teams.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Prior use of cloud-hosted environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.

Experience in the supply chain, logistics, and/or warehousing sectors is preferred.
Our Environment

This role can be based out of our office in either Wilmington, MA or Keene, NH.

Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
