Part-Time Event Assistant
role requires 1 day a week on site in Boston office.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Event Assistant to support our event planning and execution efforts. This role involves assisting the event team with logistics, post-event activities, and on-site support to ensure successful events. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, organized, and capable of working in fast-paced environments while providing outstanding support to clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the event planning team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing correspondence.
- Help coordinate event logistics- organizing supplies and creating surveys
- Host virtual events (Symposiums and Virtual Forums)
- Assist in gathering feedback and evaluations post-event for reporting and improvement purposes.
- Support the post-event activities, CPE credit submissions, certificate of completions and video editing
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the event teams needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong interest in event planning and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with event management software is a plus.
