About the Role:
Were building out our marketing team to support creating a category defining legal technology platform, and were looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join us. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, youll focus on a strategic blend of planning, execution, and analysis. The key outcomes are generating quality engagement and nurturing relationships with key titles, ultimately driving conversions with large enterprise legal departments. This role will be hybrid- working 2-3 days/week from our NYC office.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Campaign Planning and Execution
- Plan, design, and execute direct marketing campaigns to create awareness and interest among legal executives.
- Utilize account-based marketing (ABM) techniques to create personalized campaigns for high-value target accounts.
- Coordinate and help execute with internal teams (content, design, product marketing, rev enablement, CS) to develop useful assets to drive engagement.
- Demand Creation
- Develop and implement strategies to create awareness and interest using direct marketing channels, including email marketing, direct mail, and targeted events.
- Set up automated nurturing workflows to move key titles through the buyer journey effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure well orchestrated plays to the key titles in our target accounts.
- Strategy Development
- Support development of a comprehensive direct marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, sales targets, and product positioning.
- Develop targeted messaging and value propositions that resonate with legal executives and larger buying committee, emphasizing pain points such as compliance, risk management, and efficiency.
- Design multi-channel direct marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, webinars, events, etc.) tailored to the needs and preferences of the target audience.
- Event Management
- In collaboration with Event Marketing, plan and support execution of targeted events (such as webinars, roundtables, and executive dinners) designed to engage legal executives in a direct and impactful manner.
- Collaborate with sales to host events that drive engagement and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Work with GTM Operations to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI) to assess the effectiveness of direct marketing efforts.
- Use data insights to optimize campaigns, refine targeting strategies, and improve overall marketing performance.
- Develop dashboards and regular reports for cross-functional GTM leaders to showcase the impact of marketing activities on pipeline growth and revenue.
- Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget for direct marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor spending against budgets and adjust plans as necessary based on performance data and changing market conditions.
- Compliance and Regulatory Awareness
- Ensure all direct marketing communications adhere to privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- Value execution over perfection - can blend creativity with an ability to get it done.
- Have an experimentation mindset with the grit to push through roadblocks.
- 5+ years B2B enterprise SaaS direct marketing experience with a proven track record of successful campaigns. Previous experience marketing to legal executives is a plus.
- Like to both receive and give direct feedback on a timely basis.
- Excellent communication skills; able to represent marketing and the work we are doing inside the company with ease.
- Comfortable working within marketing automation and CRM solutions. Hubspot experience is a plus.
Base salary range for NYC based applicants: $120,000-125,000
