Role overview
As a primary member of the pricing team, this Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing a monetizable Pricing Tool, developing and maintaining ML models for our Pricing Product and Dealer Data Insights (DDI). This person will also work on DDI upkeep, and provide support for the services the team owns like Dealer Data Service and Dealer Engagement Platform.

- Work in a multi-functional team with engineers, data analysts, and product managers
- Test out new insights with novel and quick experiments
- Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code
- Iterate rapidly and deploy changes daily
- Collaborate with and be mentored by experienced engineers
- Train and monitor machine learning systems and models as needed
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of experience
- Expert level knowledge of Java (preferred) or similar language
- Expert level knowledge of SQL
- Expert level knowledge in AWS / AWS Certification preferred
- Experience building Machine Learning models / AWS SageMaker experience is preferred
- Experience working with Generative AI is preferred
- A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
- The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly, with loose direction
- Able to work across teams with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Willingness to work outside your comfort zones, to evaluate and work with new technologies.
