As the Director of Customer Analytics at CMT, you will lead our analytics and insights function focused on helping our customers and internal stakeholders understand the performance of their programs. Your role is crucial in harnessing the power of data to drive strategic decisions, enhance product offerings, and deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of data analysts to extract meaningful insights from vast datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
CMT is looking for a hands-on, collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Analytics Leader who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!
Responsibilities:
- Use independent judgment and discretion to develop and execute the companys analytics strategy related to customer programs
- Lead and grow a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Drive the development of analytical tools and processes to improve data quality, analysis, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into product development, marketing strategies, and customer solutions
- Identify and build customer-facing analytics product offering
- Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a clear and actionable manner
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics and telematics, ensuring CMT remains a market leader
- Complete any additional tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record in a leadership role
- 5+ years of management responsibility
- Strong technical expertise in analytics methodologies and tools (such as Tableau) including predictive modeling, big data technologies, mobile app analytics and data visualization
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights
- Experience in the telematics or related industry is preferred but not required
