Job Brief
Advisor360 is hiring a Software Engineer to build shared services and tools, drive operational excellence, and automate systems in a hybrid-cloud environment. This role demands a balance of tactical problem-solving and strategic execution, from resolving customer-impacting issues to driving long-term initiatives.
Heres What Youll Do:
Acts as a technical leader by making significant technical contributions to the planning and implementation of mid- to large-scale projects from conception to completion
Demonstrates versatility of knowledge and applies strong technical skill base to contribute to meet strategic objectives
Validates requirements, performs analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and support for assigned projects to drive application changes
Ensures compliance with coding standards and development procedures and suggests opportunities for improvement
Acquires and utilizes strong technical and application knowledge to introduce and forecast the impact of new software design patterns, code concepts, and emerging technologies
Shares information and expertise to improve the productivity of team and empower individuals
Acting as a subject matter expert within the organization while resolving complex technical issues or challenges
Acting as a mentor to develop and support team members
Leading multiple projects inside of the team and delegate tasks to team members
What You Bring to the Table:
7+ years of software engineering experience building and releasing web services.
Expert knowledge of Angular, NX (or other monorepo management tools), Jest and Karma (or similar unit test frameworks)
Solid understanding of micro frontend and microservice architectures.
Proficiency in ESLint, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript.
Preferred Strengths
Proficiency with Angular, NX (or other monorepo tools), Jest/Karma (or other unit testing frameworks), and micro frontends/microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of and experience with ESLint, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript.
Experience with Github Actions, state management libraries, GraphQL/Apollo,
Experience with Storybook, and creating/managing independent component libraries.
Experience with Playwright or other visual testing frameworks
Familiarity with Amplitude or similar analytics integration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
Experience with Playwright or other similar visual testing frameworks.
Practical knowledge of state management libraries.
Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo client.
Experience with Storybook for component development and documentation.
Experience creating, managing, and iterating on independent component libraries.
Experience integrating analytics tools such as Amplitude.
