Brief Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager- Clinical Programs, the Specialist, Clinical Programs will support the tactical and operational design of AMG-delivered clinical services for AMG-serviced clients. They will work closely with the AMG clinical Directors, Amwell Clinical Services teams, Amwell Product, Technical or Professional Services and Customer Success teams to lead the implementation of new offerings that expand the range and scope of our national telehealth provider network, as well as support the management of existing operations for AMG-supported clinical programs.
Specifically, the Specialist, Clinical Programs will:
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Manager, Clinical Programs in operationalizing and implementing new AMG-supported care and 3rd party clinical programs. This includes program design, product and staffing requirements, and clinical workflows for each business line.
- Support new and expanding AMG-supported program strategy by assisting with the creation of business cases and project plans for program operationalization
- Support AMG business operations and strategy by developing competitive analysis, determining provider acquisition costs, trending and analyzing provider attrition/retention rates and sharing these analyses with relevant business leads
- Support clinical data analysis to drive meaningful clinical and operational outcomes for AMG programs by running reports, summarizing results, and making recommendations to the Sr. Manager, Clinical Programs and key business leads
- Support product enhancement and support ticket tracking across all business lines to ensure the issues AMG providers encounter are managed, tracked and escalated in a timely fashion
- Coordinate closely with AMG Customer Success Managers, Product leads and key Clinical and Clinical Services leads (Med Directors, Clin Ops, Communications) to ensure appropriate communication and updates on product issues tracked above
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience within, but not limited to healthcare services, pharma, medical devices, business development and/or strategy capacity at a top tier consulting firm
- Advanced excel and analytics experience
- High energy, focused individual able to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Strong process-oriented focus, with a committed focus on quality of output and throughput
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, and to delegate tasks appropriately
- Ability to work side-by-side with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve objectives
- Persuasive and articulate communication skills
- Innovative problem-solving skills dissect and resolve root causes of problems, and recommend solutions
- Strong business judgment

The typical base salary range for this position is $66000- $88000. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
