The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

As a member of this cross-functional group, youll collaborate with teams across Liberty Mutual to deliver analysis that unlocks insights and sparks new, better ways of working.

Join the Omni-Channel and Self-Service analytics team!
Our team focuses on optimizing and enhancing the Digital Service Website for both Liberty Mutual and Safeco. As part of the team, you will partner with product owners, peer analysts, and leadership to evaluate adoption, usability, and effectiveness of the customer experience among the many self-service applications that exist on the website (online payments, endorsements, etc.). As the company pivots back to growth, this role may also focus on evaluating opportunities for cross selling, upselling, and retaining current customers. Your analysis will deliver actionable insights to help achieve our business goals and deliver exceptional service to our policy holders.
The team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical background, knowledge of the business, experience creating and using analytics in SAS/SQL/Web Analytics, and has the ability to foster strong relationship and manage stakeholders effectively.
This position may be hired as Sr. Analyst or Consultant. Your background and qualifications will be evaluated against the skills and experiences required for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Works with other departments and collaborates within team to support omni-channel initiatives that utilize similar customer level data and online experiences.
- Collaborates with Product owners to evaluate and monitor product releases through A/B tests and quantitative analyses.
- Assists with prioritization of data requirements/data strategy to enhance or create new data to enable the business to make future business decisions.
- Identify opportunities and implement improvements to current processes and tools to automate and deliver impactful analyses.
- Meets with supervisor to discuss project status and present recommendations performs special projects as requested.
- Mentor junior analysts and support team culture and development.
Candidates that reside within 50 miles from a hub will be required to go to office twice a week. Please note this policy is subject to change.
Qualifications
- SAS/SQL experience required. Snowflake experience preferred. Experience with web analytics tools (Google, HEAP, Adobe, etc.) a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required.
- Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study.
- Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
