Brief Overview:
In this fast paced, dynamic Ten (10)-week corporate internship program starting in June 2025, we are recruiting candidates completing their first year of graduate school looking for experience in strategic work across strategic partnerships, technology, marketing, project management, business and quantitative roles. Candidates will be challenged across all functions within Amwell. Throughout the ten (10) weeks, candidates are critically assessed for potential full time placement upon completing their two year graduate degree.
We can promise a Ten (10)-week intensive program aimed at providing graduate students with an experience that will enrich their understanding of the challenges and complexities of healthcare technology and service delivery. Students will have access to senior management along with executive visibility and direct supervisory support to offer guidance and feedback. Specific projects will be tailored and designed to match the candidates skills and career goals, as well as the department needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and continuous improvement of automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of Salesforce automations and configurations, ensuring smooth integration and faster release cycles.
- Work closely with the Salesforce developers and administrators to gather requirements and ensure DevOps processes are aligned with team needs, automating repetitive tasks and optimizing development workflows.
- Support the monitoring of CI/CD tools and environments, identifying bottlenecks and troubleshooting any issues in the Salesforce deployment process, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- Continuously stay informed on the latest CRM technologies and drive innovation within Salesforce through the implementation of new capabilities, ensuring that these advancements align with business goals, and user needs and the strategic direction set by the CRM steering committee.
- Manage the design, development and implementation of complex projects that will support the growth and delivery of Amwells products, while increasing peoples access to healthcare.
- Lead growth and transformation by influencing a culture of adaptability, excellence and collaboration. Recommendation and implementation of process, staffing, and technological solutions to support an efficient and effective model for a corporate organization.
- Execute strategic plans that demonstrate value and measurable improvement in the healthcare delivery system.
- Navigate department needs to determine key team priorities in order to enhance existing services or create new, improved solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to cultivate innovative ideas that work towards our goal of addressing the challenges our health system faces today.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with proven ability to understand the day-to-day operations of a corporate environment.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Masters Graduate Program with expected graduation in December 2025 OR May 2026
- A minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Demonstrated problem solving and influencing skill set
- Highly successful working independently, in teams and across a matrixed environment
- Change management and innovative mind-set
- Analytical, managerial, and organizational skills

The typical hourly wage range for this position is $45.00-$55.00. The actual hourly wage offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role.
