Brief Overview:
Amwell is looking for a Lead Engagement Marketing Manager to join our Engagement Marketing team as an individual contributor. We are seeking an experienced and passionate marketer with consumer, patient and member engagement experience in the Payer sector.
As the Lead Engagement Marketing Manager, you will be the day-to-day marketing contact for two of our largest and most strategic customers. Working in collaboration with our Customer Success, Professional Services and Sales teams, you will work to increase utilization and customer satisfaction of Amwell solutions for your book of business. You will be responsible for developing consumer and member engagement strategy, sharing data-driven best practices, creating robust marketing plans, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for multiple solutions.
This is a customer-facing role that requires polished presentation skills, excellent communication, a collaboration style that brings people together across multiple disciplines, and an ability to craft stories that inspire and motivate both our customers and the populations they serve.
Core Responsibilities:
- Marketing SME for our largest and most strategic customers.
- Responsible for managing +$1M customer marketing budgets and allocation of resources to deliver measurable impact, in addition to meeting annual visit goals and revenue targets.
- Develop deep and wide relationships with customers. Collaborate on marketing strategy for their Amwell products, driving measurable improvement in utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Day-to-day marketing lead and contact for two large customers, managing agendas, follow-ups, leading meetings, preparing materials and owning decisions and deliverables.
- Collaborate with marketing channel teams, such as design, copy, email marketing and others, to develop high performing campaigns, leveraging testing and data-driven decision making to constantly improve performance.
- Oversee external contractors and internal resources to help execute campaigns.
- Create project plans and manage the delivery of high-quality marketing materials across multiple channels, ensuring all deliverables are on time.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product suite and create marketing/communication programs that support an exceptional end-to-end user experience.
- Develop case studies and presentation materials for internal and external broadcast.
- Support packaging and rollout of high-performing marketing programs across our entire customer portfolio.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of B2C marketing experience, preferably within a healthcare organization or marketing agency
- Excellent presentation, relationship-building and project management skills
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience and comfort with marketing technologies (automation, tracking and analytics, etc.)
- Cross-channel marketing experience including paid digital, email, SEO, and content marketing; growth and mobile app marketing experience a plus
- Bachelors degree
- MBA or equivalent preferred

The typical base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $147,000. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
